Art sparks new dialogues and can simultaneously represent the past, present, and future, fostering connections and understanding across cultures. Gardens, parks, and public spaces continue to expand on traditional notions of art access and display, creating temporary or permanent installations on a variety of scales and budgets. Panelists share perspectives on a range of projects that transform space and foster engagement. Speakers will highlight examples from across the country to broaden perspective and spark imagination, while discussing key considerations such as selection criteria, working with artists, siting, maintenance and contractual needs. Regardless of budget or staff size, participants will leave with new ideas and knowledge of how to create a new installation or move an existing exhibition project forward.
