Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest developed a 20-year Master Plan. Shaping stakeholder consensus was essential for the success of the design, for future fundraising, and project development. We will deliver a plan presentation and panel discussion on various topics including Why Master Plan and Why Now? and Selection of Consultants Determining Task Force. We hope through this discussion that participants will learn the value of broad collaboration throughout the Master Plan Process. Whether your Public Garden is large or small, new or existing, or urban or rural, consensus is the key to future success. We hope this information leads to more innovative, effective, and successful design processes and improved public experiences in gardens and like institutions.
