In this session, a program officer from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) will review grant programs, discuss examples of recently funded projects, and help you find the best fit for your project ideas among several IMLS funding opportunities. IMLS funding opportunities include grants up to $50,000 designed for smaller institutions; grants up to $250,000 for projects that advance your institution’s strategic plan goals; and grants up to $1,000,000 to support research, collaboration and innovation that will advance the museum field.

The session will highlight funding opportunities aligned with the needs of arboretums, botanical gardens, and nature centers and prepare you with project ideas for the next IMLS grant application deadline in November 2019.
