Over 30 million annual visitors travel to see the diverse monuments and memorials on the National Mall. Join National Park Service Rangers for a walking tour around some of most recognizable man-made monuments in the world. The tour will start and finish at the Lincoln Memorial and take participants on a journey to discover the history behind the design, construction, and evolution of downtown Washington, D.C. Along the way the park rangers will also discuss how they manage the large groups who visit the Mall. Be sure to bring your camera and to capture great views of some of America’s most iconic sites. You are sure to create some stunning images as the sun sets halfway through this two hour walking tour.

Attendees are encouraged to grab a quick bite on their own at one of the many restaurants and fast-food establishments nearby the hotel in Woodley Park before boarding the bus for this unique evening tour.

Please note: Comfortable walking shoes recommended.

IMPORTANT DEPARTURE UPDATE: This tour will now load and depart on Calvert St. NW located across from the front entrance of the hotel. Tour attendees should exit the hotel via the front lobby and look for signs and volunteers directing them to the correct location.

Additionally, the Association will not be able to accommodate participants driving their own vehicles to/from offsite locations. All attendees must board the bus at the hotel and return with the group at the scheduled times.
