Evaluation is a critical component to the success of just about any endeavor. However, how often do we take the time to reflect with program participants and facilitators? With momentum around diversifying audiences, organizations are encouraged to examine their commitment to and understanding of the disability community. With an ever-expanding array of offerings and programs for people with disabilities, where does an organization begin? Join a diverse panel who self-identify with differing abilities as well as several program facilitators for an open dialogue about what success looks like within public gardens. Participants will be better able to advocate within their organization to diversify audiences, identify community assets to develop opportunities that support differing abilities, and engage with accessibility advocates.
